On the Waterway –a ribbon of water, stretching from Wolf Bay to Mobile Bay, The Waterway slowly takes shape as Alabama’s New Coast.

Long used by boaters for safe passage to calmer waters, the Waterway now brings new life along those once-quiet banks. New projects like the Wharf, Bama Bayou and Bon Secour Village join Homeport Marina, Lulus and Sunset Bay at Bon Secour as life grows to new proportions along the once sleepy banks of the Intracoastal Waterway. Beautiful new homes and condominiums are already in place with more on the way. Restaurants, bars and nightclubs, shopping and entertainment are being added every day.

On The Waterway is a product of the Waterway District, a cooperative of developers, the cities of Gulf Shores and Orange Beach, the Gulf Coast Chamber and the Convention and Visitors Bureau to help promote and protect the this wonderful addition to our areas lifestyle. • To expand the seasonality for the marketplace by dramatically expanding the visitor’s options beyond our beautiful beaches.
• To create a unique residential, retail and entertainment district for the Gulf Shores/Orange Beach area
